Slogan Writing Competition

on the theme “End Violence Against Women.”

Violence against women is the most basic human right violation found across borders, cultures and communities. It often takes the form of physical, emotional, sexual and economic abuse. To raise awareness, inspire change, and promote a culture of respect, dignity, and equality, we are organizing a Slogan Writing Competition on the theme “End Violence Against Women.”
Join us in standing up for women’s rights and challenging the silence and stigma that allow violence to persist. Let your words be a weapon for justice.

RULES FOR THE COMPETITION:

1. Eligibility:
   ● Open to all students belonging to any one of the colleges participating in the project (including ILS Law College) pursuing either the Five Year (BA.LL.B/BSL.LL.B) or Three Year (LL.B) Law Program
   ● Team entries are not allowed. Only individual entries are allowed
   ● Only one entry per student
2. Language:
   ● Language of the slogans must be either Marathi or Hindi
   ● Derogatory, vulgar or obscene language to be strictly avoided and is found to be used in the slogans, it will lead to direct disqualification.
3. Word Limit:
   ● Slogans should be concise of no more than 15 words.
4. Submission
   ● All slogans must be mailed to violencenomore@ilslaw.in
5. Deadline:
   ● All entries must reach us through email by June 15, 2025 11.59 pm.

   ● On submission, the slogans will become open source and no copyright can be claimed by the participant on it.
   ● The slogans can be used by the organizers in any advocacy or legal aid activities including but limited to print or electronic format.
   ● The slogan must be an original work of the participant. Plagiarism will lead to disqualification.
8. Prizes
   ● The Best Three Slogans will be awarded Certificate, trophy and other suitable prize as decided by the organizers.
   ● Certificate of Participation will be given to all participants

घोषवाक्य (Slogan) लेखन स्पर्धा

विषय – “महिलांवरील हिंसा थांबवा”

महिलांवरील हिंसा ही सर्वात मूलभूत मानवी हक्कांचे उल्लंघन आहे, जी सर्व देश / संस्कृती आणि समुदायांमध्ये आढळून येते. ही हिंसा – शारीरिक, मानसिक, लैंगिक, आर्थिक अशा वेग वेगळ्या स्वरूपात आपल्याला दिसून येते. लोकांमध्ये महिलांवरील होणारी हिंसा याबाबत जनजागृती व्हावी, त्यांना परीतार्वानाची साद घालण्यासाठी तसेच सन्मान, प्रतिष्ठा व समतेची संस्कृती प्रस्थापित करण्यासाठी “महिलांवरील हिंसा थांबवा” या विषयावर घोषवाक्य लेखन स्पर्धा आम्ही आयोजित करत आहोत.
महिलांच्या हक्कां विषयीच्या या लढ्यात त्यांना पाठिंबा देण्यासाठी व हिंसाचाराबाबत सहसा बाळगले जाणारे मौन तोडण्यासाठी या घोषवाक्य लेखन स्पर्धेत सहभागी व्हा. तुमच्या शब्दांनी एखाद्या महिलेला हिंसे विरुद्ध आवाज उठवण्याची उर्जा मिळू शकते.

स्पर्धेच्या अटी व नियम:

1. पात्रता:
   • या प्रकल्पात सहभागी असलेल्या कोणत्याही कॉलेजमधील (ILS Law College सहित) पाच वर्षे (BA.LL.B/BSL.LL.B) किंवा तीन वर्षे (LL.B) कायद्याचा अभ्यास करणारे विद्यार्थी या स्पर्धेत भाग घेण्यास पात्र आहेत.
   • या स्पर्धेत टीमने भाग घेता येणार नाही. फक्त वैयक्तिक (individual) प्रवेशिकाच मान्य केल्या जातील.
   • प्रत्येक विद्यार्थ्याला फक्त एकच घोषवाक्य पाठवता येईल.
2. भाषा:
   • घोषवाक्य मराठी किंवा हिंदी या दोन भाषांपैकी एकामध्ये असावे.
   • अश्लील, अपमानास्पद किंवा अयोग्य भाषा वापरल्यास सदरील प्रवेशिका स्पर्धेतून थेट बाद करण्यात येईल.
3. शब्दमर्यादा:
   घोषवाक्य १५ शब्दांपेक्षा जास्त नसावे.
4. घोषवाक्य पाठवण्याची प्रक्रिया:
   सर्व घोषवाक्य violencenomore@ilslaw.in या ईमेलवर पाठवावीत.
5. शेवटची तारीख:
   सर्व घोषवाक्य १५ जून २०२५, रात्री ११:५९ वाजेपर्यंत ईमेल द्वारे आमच्यापर्यंत पोहोचणे आवश्यक आहे.

7. इतर नियम:
   • घोषवाक्य सादर केल्यावर ती सार्वजनिक मालमत्ता (open source) ठरेल आणि त्यावर विद्यार्थी कोणत्याही प्रकारचे कॉपीराइट हक्क सांगू शकणार नाहीत.
   • आयोजक घोषवाक्याचा वापर कोणत्याही प्रकारच्या जनजागृती उपक्रमांमध्ये करू शकतात – छापील व इलेक्ट्रॉनिक माध्यमांसह.
   • घोषवाक्य पूर्णतः स्पर्धकाने स्वतः तयार केलेले असावे. साहित्य चोरी (plagiarism) केल्यास प्रवेश रद्द केला जाईल.
8. बक्षिसे:
   • सर्वोत्कृष्ट तीन घोषवाक्यांना प्रमाणपत्र, ट्रॉफी आणि इतर उचित पारितोषकाने सन्मानित केले जाईल.
   • सर्व सहभागींना प्रमाणपत्र दिले जाईल.
